SERVICING
Q1: What are the service intervals for Yamaha motorcycles & scooters?
The current service intervals are as follows:

First Service (all models) - 600 miles/6 weeks (whichever comes sooner)

Models up to 125cc - every 4000 miles/*annual check

Models over 125cc - every 6000 miles/*annual check

(* The annual check must be performed every year, unless a mileage based service is performed instead)

The above intervals relate to road going machines. For competition and off road machines, please refer to the Owner's Handbook.

Q2: What are the service intervals for Yamaha Outboards?
The current service intervals are as follows:

First Service - 10 hours

Then - initial 50 hours or 3 months (whichever is soonest)

Thereafter - every 100 hours or 6 months (whichever is soonest)

And - every 200 hours or 12 months (whichever is soonest)

The frequency of maintenance operations may be adjusted according to the operating conditions.

Note: When operating in salt water, turbid or muddy water, the engine should be flushed with clean water after each use.

Q3: What are the service intervals for Yamaha WaveRunners?
The current service intervals are as follows:

First Service - 10 hours

And - every 200 hours or 24 months (whichever is soonest)

The frequency of maintenance operations may be adjusted according to the operating conditions.

The current service intervals are as follows:

First Service - 1 month

Then - initial 3 months

Then - initial 6 months

Thereafter - every 6 months

Then - every 12 months

These intervals are applicable to both Utility and Leisure vehicles.

First Service - 1 month or 20 hours (whichever is soonest)

Then - every 3 months or 50 hours (whichever is soonest)

Then - every 6 months or 100 hours (whichever is soonest)

Then - every 12 months or 300 hours (whichever is soonest)
