Service Department
This position is mainly office based working under the supervision of the Head of Section. The primary role will be to support our Motorcycle and ATV dealer networks with technical assistance by telephone and regular technical dealer information send outs, plus technical market feedback to the factories. The job also involves close liaison with other members of the service department and offering technical advice directly to customers.
Duties will also include occasional dealer visits and involvement with dealer development especially the implementation of the new internet based service portal. Also assistance with show preparation and workshop training when necessary.
The successful candidate will have a sound technical background with experience in one or both of the main product groups. Ability to work on own initiative and good communication skills are essential for this position. Occasional travel is required plus attendance at shows and other promotional events will be expected. Full motorcycle and car driving licence is essential.

Marine & ATV Division
Yamaha Motor (UK) Ltd is the sole distributor of Yamaha All Terrain Vehicles for the UK, Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands.
This job is responsible for the operational aspects of our ATV and Side by Side business including the day to day management of our Area Sales Managers, achievement of unit sales targets, dealer network development and assisting our Marine & ATV Divisional Manager with longer term strategy.
As the successful applicant you will have an in-depth knowledge of the relevant industries gained through a sales, marketing and distribution background. In addition, experience in dealing with a dealer network would be a major advantage. As a committed professional, you will already be in a managerial role or ready to step up to the plate after demonstrating your abilities in a related role. You will also be comfortable in presenting your ideas at all levels of business.
Additionally, you will maintain a full driving licence and be prepared for travel within the UK and occasionally, Europe. You will be living in the South East of England or be prepared to move there as the job entails both office and field based work.
This position will be extremely challenging and will require total commitment to succeed, including some unsociable hours working. The reward for success is total job satisfaction.
