All new road legal Yamaha scooters and motorcycles of 51cc and above come with the reassurance of a comprehensive, free warranty with unlimited mileage for a full two years. All new road legal Yamaha mopeds, scooters and motorcycles under 51cc have a one year warranty. For all off-road machines the period is 90 days (parts only). |

Q11: How do I make a warranty claim? |

If you experience a problem with your Yamaha motorcycle/marine/power product which you believe should be dealt with under the terms of the manufacturer’s warranty, please promptly contact your Yamaha dealer to arrange for the motorcycle/marine/power product to be inspected and any claim assessed.
All claims under warranty must be submitted on your behalf through an authorised Yamaha dealer. We regret that we are unable to accept warranty claims directly from owners. |

Q12: Is the warranty on my Yamaha transferable? |

Yes - The warranty is not affected by a change of ownership with any remaining period of cover being transferable to subsequent owners. |
